Mr. and Mrs. Howard
Brodie of Roslyn, N.Y., have
announced the engagement
of their daughter, Carolyn
Sue Brodie, to Stuart Jay
Boesky, the son of Mrs. Sylvia
Boesky of Huntington Woods
and the late Mr. Harry
Boesky.
Miss Brodie graduated from
Boston University and is vice
president of a public relations
firm in New York.
Mr. Boesky is senior vice
president and a principal of
Related Capital Corporation.
He graduated from Michigan
State University and receiv-
ed his law degree from Wayne
State University. He also
holds a master of law
degree in taxation from
Boston University School of
Law. He is a member of the
Bar in New York,
Massachusetts and Michigan.
An April wedding is
planned.
Cohen-Fertel
Mr. and Mrs. Sy Cohen of
Farmington Hills announce
the engagement of their
daughter, Natalie Lynn, to
Howard Kevin Fertel, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Max Fertel of
Oak Park.
Natalie is an artist and
elementary school art teacher
in Troy. She received a
bachelor's degree from the
University of Michigan and is
completing a master's degree
in education at Eastern
Michigan University.
Howard received his
bachelor's degree in engineer-
ing from the University of
Michigan and graduated from
the Michigan State Universi-
ty College of Oseteopathic
Medicine. He will begin his
residency in emergency
medicine in August.
A July wedding is planned.
