Gregor, a native Detroiter now living in Illinois, paints the landscape in two distinct styles. His "flatscapes" are map-like aerial views of farms painted in Post-Impressionist colors from photographs. Gregor's landscapes, seeming- ly more traditional, are subt- ly painted and draw the viewer into an immediate, ex- tensive foreground, juxtapos- ed against a far distant horizon.
