bathrooms. Beige and cream
Bodacino marble encircles the bath
area, which comes together with a
large whirlpool bathtub and a two-
person walk-through shower, featuring
an art-glass shower door designed by
Goodman-Krass. Brushed brass-
finished cabinets and cream Corian
counters with brass bullnose inlays
create an elegant backdrop.
Down a couple of staircases, one
enters the husband's private domain.
A new Prescott moving metal sculpture
of animals on the landing outside pro-
vides the perfect entrance to the of-
fice/trophy/media room. The room is
filled with mooseheads, oroix heads,
deerheads, elephant tusks, and other
animal trophies the owner, once an
avid hunter, bagged himself. A real
leopard throw, a grizzly bearskin rug,
two zebra skin rugs and two elephant
foot stools generate a true "Out of
Africa" feeling. Besides a sitting area
with a TV, there is a desk and lots of
family photos and African masks.
Down another level to what the hus-
band, and probably the kids, call the
"fun level." A full lower level walkout
leads out to a large (45'x25') inground
pool, a dock, two boats, and multilevels
of decks. The lower level houses a pin-
ball machine, air hockey table, pool
table, a bumper pool table, a large bar,
a kitchen, a large screen TV, a fireplace
and a large soft-plum leather sectional.
"The boys have friends sleep over
about every other week. They all come
down here, and they have a great
time," the husband says.
A mirrored exercise room, a
housekeeper's living quarters, another
large guest room and bath, dressing
area and sauna finish off the lower
level. In addition there is a fully-tiled
enclosed hot tub on the way to the
pool area.
"We use the outside all of the time,"
the wife says. "In the summer, we're on
the lake daily, boating, fishing, water-
skiing. It's a very casual kind of
lifestyle."
"You get used to the size," the hus-
band says. "It's home. It really has
been like a dream.
"And I haven't had a claustrophobia
attack in two years."
