Realistically, these figures dictate
that assuming the client wishes a com-
plete "look" immediately, the interiors
will be more contemporary in nature
and the quality will be of a lower end.
Even at this level, today's interiors are
not small ticket items. Therefore, the
more homework you do, the better
educated you become, the greater
confidence you use in making your
selections and the more dynamic and

Gorman's Boasts
New Designers

Gorman's welcomes two designers
to Gorman's Studio of Interior Design.
Neal Jay Herman was with Gor-
man's from 1969-1971 and then open-
ed his own design business, Neal Her-
man Designs, Ltd. in Hong Kong.
After Hong Kong, Herman joined
Sheridan & Associates in New York as
a vice president. He designed
automatic money teller machines for
various national banking companies.
He was design associate in interior
design for Sherwood Studios in
Southfield.
Dianne Cavalier Rosenberg was an
interior designer for Landau Studio In-
teriors in Franklin from 1975-1978. She
opened her own studio, Design's Etc.,
Inc. in 1978. The studio specialized in
contemporary and eclectic designs.
Rosenberg has been a member of
the Furniture Interior Design Associa-
tion since 1985 and is a collector of
contemporary art, bakelite jewelry,
American art pottery and 1950s plastic
purses.
