front of Tel-Ex Plaza.
Seating is 130 in a very
clean environment of booths
and tables so conducive to
healthy appetites . . . The
marble tops are all in a light
and airy atmosphere of much
pleasantry.
But it wasn't always like
this . . . The previous owners
let the site wear down . . . Pre-
sent bossfolks, Nick and Vida
Milosevich, gutted the entire
place and built Nikola's from
the ground up . . . with
everything new . . . and an
emphasis on cleanliness.
The good food is much the
doing of Vida, who makes the
soups, daily specials, pastries,
cookies, streudels, etc. . . . She
and Nick owned Westwood
Bakery on Evergreen and W
Warren for 35 years.
Their day and night
manager, very polite and
pleasant Eddie Alwan, is a
thorough customer pleaser
. . . with much know-how in
dining satisfaction.
Can't miss the big sign in
front . . . don't, because
Nikola's is the kind of
neighborhood restaurant you
want to know about . . . serv-
ing broasted and bar-b-q
chicken, ribs, seafood, steaks,
fish, etc. . . . It's open seven
days, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
