Hosts Carlebach
Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach
will be guest artist at the 31st
anniversary dinner of Young
Israel of Greenfield 6 p.m.
June 11.
Rabbi Charlebach is a
Chasidic folksinger. He mixes
story and song to bring
spiritual insights drawn from
Jewish mysticism.
Rabbi Carlebach was born
in pre-Nazi Germany and fled
with his family to the United
States in 1939.
The honorees for this year's
dinner will be Chuck and
Raiselle Snow. There is a

Holds Dinner
B'nai Israel Beth Yehudah

Honors Emigres
Temple Israel will present a
special Shabbat Service 8
p.m. May 4 honoring new
Jewish Americans from the
Soviet Union. Cantor Harold
Orbach will present "The Fid-
dler Leaves Russia," a sermon

will follow.
