Southfield Library
Holds Book Sale

The Friends of the
Southfield Public Library will
hold their semiannual offer-
ing of books May 15-17.
The book sale will be in the
library's Marcotte Room.
Preview Night May 15 allows
first choice of the sale books,
along with refreshments.
There is a charge.
Sale hours are 6-8 p.m. May
15 and 9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.

Bicycle Tour

Oakland County bicyclers
can join the 4-H Coast-the-
Coast ride July 21-27.
The tour is scheduled to
begin and end in
Frankenmuth.
There is a charge for the
trip. Minimum age is 12
years. The tour is limited to
35 participants. Registration
deadline is June 13.
