SEGAL, 73, former Detroiter
of Las Vagas, died March 30.
He is survived by his sons,
Elliot and David, both of Las
Vegas; daughters, Margaret
Land of Las Vegas, Kristine
Kuzemla of Seattle; and four
grandchildren. Interment in
Las Vegas.

West Bloomfield, died April 8.
She leaves a son and
daughter-in-law, David and
Suzanne of West Bloomfield;
a daughter, Nedra Kapetan-

grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.

JOSEPH TAUBER, 76,
formerly of Detroit, of
Camarillo, Calif., died April
7. He is survived by his wife,
Sarah; daughter and son-in-
law, Cynthia and George
Richman; son, Stanley; four
grandchildren; sisters, Ruth
Fenchel and Jeanette
Feldman. Interment in
California.

MAURICE TRAGER, 73, of
Southfield, died April 9. He
leaves his wife, Rose; a son,
Norman; a daughter and son-
in-law, Susan and Dennis
Brozes; a sister and brother-
in-law, Faye and Melvin Rice;
and two grandchildren.

IRVING TURNER, 82, of
Americus, Ga., formerly of
Detroit, died April 7. He is
survived by children, Neal
and Sara Lee Turner of
Americus, Ga. and Patty and
Lou Rosenman of
Washington, D.C.; four grand-
children and a great-
grandson. Interment in
Florida.

Mr. Garland was the former
owner of Margolis Furniture,
a member of Temple Israel,
B'nai B'rith, and an active
volunteer with the Allied
Jewish Campaign.
He leaves his wife, Sylvia; a
son and daughter-in-law,
Howard and Sylvia of New
Haven, Conn.; a daughter
and son-in-law, Sharon and
Larry Stein of Farmington
Hills; a brother and sister-in-
law, Louis and Betty of
Southfield; and five grand-
children. Services and inter-
ment in Detroit.

Volunteer

Rose M. Kales, 95, com-
munity volunteer, of Oak
Park, died April 7.
Mrs. Kales was a member of
City of Hope, Phythian
Sisters, Zedakah, Namat
(Pioneer Women), Jewish Na-
tional Fund, B'nai B'rith,
Jewish Home for Aged and a
volunteer at Sinai Hospital.
She leaves her son and
daughter-in-law, Paul and
Lorraine of West Bloomfield;
a daughter and son-in-law,
Ethel and Philip Nolish of
Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother,
Barney Kasoff of Southfield;
five grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

Cash Wash Exec

Samuel J. Dworman, 76, of
Southfield died April 6.
Mr. Dworman was a car
wash executive, member and
past president of Mezeritcher
Aid Society, member and past
officer of Detroit Lodge B'nai
B'rith, a member of Perfec-
tion Lodge 486 F and AM,
and the Furniture Club of
Detroit.
He leaves his wife, Rose; a
son and daughter-in-law,
Robert and Cheryl of West
Bloomfield, a daughter and
son-in-law, Susan and Stuart
Oshinsky of Sugar Land,
'Iexas; a sister and brother-in-
law, Adeline and Morrie Kraft
of Lake Worth, Fla.; and four
grandchildren.
