To Bowling Hall

Akron, Ohio — Marshall
Holman and Joe Beradi are
the newest members of the
PBA's Hall of Fame in the
performance category and
Andy Marzich was selected in
run-off balloting for the
veterans category. The three
bring membership in the PBA
Hall of Fame to 51.
Holman, Medford, Ore.,
owns 21 PBA championships
and of the 101 ballots cast, he
garnered 91, with election in
the performance category
guaranteed those with a
minimum of 67 votes. The
1987 PBA Player of the Year,
Holman has won two Fire-
stone crowns (1976 and '86)
and two BPAA U.S. Open
titles (1981 and '85). He is
currently the PBA's all-time
earnings leader, with more
than $1.4 million.
