Door-To-Door Transporta-
tion is available to senior
adults who wish to par-
ticipate in the activities at
the Jimmy Prentis Morris
building. Passengers are pick-
ed up at their homes beginn-
ing at 9:30 a.m. with a return
trip at 3 p.m. A donation is
appreciated. To initiate ser-
vice, call 967-4357.
The schedule is as follows:
Monday — Southfield and
Detroit; Tuesday — Oak Park;
Wednesday — Detroit, Oak
Park, Berkley, Royal Oak and
Southfield; Friday — Oak
Park, Berkley and Royal Oak.

The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center's Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris building will hold
its weekly Erev Shabbat pro-
gram at 12:30 p.m. on March
30 in Jaffe Hall. Cantor Max
Shimansky will lead the ser-
vice. Art Class with Harriet
Gelfond will meet from 9 a.m.
to noon in Room 11.
April 1 — The movie classic
April Showers will be shown
at 2 p.m. in the Assembly
Hall.
April 2 — "Fitness for All,"
part of the Center Adult
Fitness program, offers stret-
ching, toning and low impact
aerobics at 11 a.m. in the
gym. The Mother's Club will
meet at noon in Jaffe Hall.
Rabbi Gorrelick will lecture
at 12:30 in Room 4. Mah
jongg will be played from
12:30 to 4 p.m. in Room 15.
April 3 — Frances Weinberg
will present a book review of
Fred Mustard's Glitter and
The Gold at 11 a.m in Room
4. Jack Schwartz will present
"Synagogues Around The
World" at the Tuesday After-
noon Lecture Series at 1 p.m.
in the Assembly Hall. The
movie classic, Bohemian Girl
- Part 1, will follow at 1:45
p.m.
April 4 — The Widowed
Support Group will meet at
10:30 a.m. in Room 3.
Facilitator, Stanley Clamage
will lead "Explore the Bible,"
an open study group at 11
a.m. in Room 4. Rabbi Gar-
relick will lecture at 12:30
p.m. in Room 4. A Wednesday
Afternoon Concert, featuring
the music of Eastern Europe,
will be heard at 1 p.m. in Jaffe
Hall. Advance tickets may be
obtained at the JPM box of-
fice. Preference is given to
senior adult Center members.
There is no charge.
April 5 — The Center Men's
forum on world events will

meet at 10:30 a.m. in Room 4.
The Yiddish Culture Club
will offer the Yiddish
language film Merle Efros at
1 p.m. in Jaffe Hall. The
Senior Adult Health Screen-
ing provided through Sinai
Hospital will return to Thurs-
day afternoons, from 1:30 to
3:30 p.m. in Room 10. Dr.
Aubrey Goldman and Shirley
Kramer, R.N. will provide
blood pressure checks and
fast blood sugar tests as well
as general consultations.
Press review with Irving Her-
man will meet at 12:45 p.m.
in room 15. The Thursday
afternoon video feature
Amadeus, the life of composer
Mozart, will be shown at 1:30
p.m in the Atrium and will be
repeated Friday at 10 a.m. in
the Assembly Hall.

Weinberg 1 p.m. April 2 to
review Mothers by Gloria
Goldreich.

April 26 — "Lomer Alleh
Zingen," Yiddish Songs on
Video Tape.

Vacation Tour

The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center will offer a
Catskill Mountain Vacation
package, June 24 through
June 29 at the Raleigh Hotel,
with a special stopover one
night at Niagara Falls.
