Akiva student, placed first in
the statewide writing com-
petition sponsored by the
Michigan Commission on the
Bicentennial of the United
States Constitution. Her
poem entitled "Justice"
followed the contest theme
"Two Hundred Years of
Establishing Justice: The
American Court System." As
the first place winner in the
10th-12th grade category,
Braunstein will participate in
an awards ceremony at 2 p.m.
May 24 in the Library of
Michigan in Lansing.
