IRENE T. WEISS, 80, of Southfield, died Feb. 28. She leaves her husband, Joseph and her son, Michael of Southfield. Yehudis Bergstein Handler Yehudis Bergstein Handler, 38, of Israel, died in January. More than 600 friends from throughout Israel attended the funeral, at which former Knesset member and rosh yeshiva of the Hesder Pro- gram, Rabbi Drukman, spoke of Mrs. Handler's devotion to Israel. She made aliyah in 1973. An artist, Mrs. Handler decorated camps of her B'nai Akiva chapter and her kib- butz. She also designed an ark cover in memory of a young man killed in Lebanon. She is survived by her brother, Rabbi Chaim Berg- stein of Farmington Hills; a husband and four children. Interment in Jerusalem. Saralee Green Saralee Greene, 78, co- owner of Nat Greene's Women's Apparel, of Southfield, died March 6. She was also the owner of Expectation Shop in Birm- ingham and Maternity Modes. Mrs. Greene was also a former dental hygenist. She leaves a daughter, Gael of New York; a son, Jim of Chicago; and five grand- children. and Miriam and Jack Glick of Huntington. Mr. Glick leaves brothers and sisters-in-law, Lewis and Mary Elizabeth of Sarasota, Fla., and Jack and Miriam of Huntington; sisters and a brother-in-law, Besse and Isador Cohen and Lena Glick, all of Huntington. Services and interment in Huntington. Mathilde R. Meyer Mathilde R. Meyer, of West Bloomfield, died March 3. Mrs. Meyer was born in New York, and had been here in the Detroit area for the past five years. She was a teacher in the New York Public Schools System for more than 36 years, teaching fourth and fifth graders, before her retirement in 1956. She was a volunteer for many years with the Sloan- Kettering Institute in New York and was an active par- ticipant with the Children's Social Services in N.Y. She was many times honored by the N.Y. School system for outstanding achievement in teaching skills. She was a 1919 graduate of N.Y. State Teacher's Normal School.
