Three Scholarships Being Offered Congregation Beth Achim announces three Annual Israel Youth Scholarships: the Harry and Sarah Laker Israel Scholarship; the Robert and Gertrude Berman Scholar- ship; and the Samuel and Dora Kobaker Memorial Scholarship. The Laker Scholarship is awarded to a post high school age candidate to study in Israel at the Hebrew Univer- sity, Ben Gurion University, Tel Aviv University, Bar Ilan University or Haifa Universi- ty for an academic year. The Berman Scholarship is awarded to a candidate, who is enrolled in a college, to study courses in advanced Hebrew or Jewish studies.
