Empire kosher fryer chicken breast halves,
skin removed
celery, finely chopped
large apples, cored and sliced
lemon juice
basil leaves
salt
ground nutmeg
white pepper
thyme

Spread celery evenly over bottom of shallow baking dish.
Arrange chicken and apples to cover celery completely. Pour
lemon juice over all; sprinkle with basil, salt, nutmeg, pepper
and thyme. Bake, uncovered in 350° oven for one hour or until
fork can be insertedin chicken with ease.
Serves 4, 170 calories per 5-ounce serving.
