Slates Ewing

Music Study Club of
Metropolitan Detroit will
present Mary Sue Ewing,
soprano, and Jim
Wilhemsen, pianist, in con-
cert in "An Afternoon of
Musical Theatre" 3 p.m.
March 18 at the Birm-
ingham Temple.
Ewing has performed fre-
quently throughout Detroit,
most recently with the
Livonia Symphony Or-
chestra as guest artist.
Wilhemsen has performed
in the United States and
Europe, both on stage, and
for radio and television.
Senior adults from the
Jewish Community Center
will attend the concert with
transportation provided by
the Sally Allan Alexander
Fund for Senior Citizens.
There is a nominal charge.

Seeks Actors

Auditions continue for
Nancy Gurwin's production
of Once Upon a Mattress 7

Royal Oak Stagecrafters'
Baldwin Theatre will pre-
sent The Nerd March 2-18.
The Nerd is a comedy that
relates to the experiences of
an aspiring young architect
from Indiana who has a
mysterious visitor he never
met. The visitor turns out to
be the person who saved his
life in Viet Nam.
