For YI-Greenfield
Alexandedr R. Bensky of
Detroit has been elected to
the board of directors of the
Tiger Stadium Fan Club,
which comprises nearly 7,000
members worldwide.
The club, dedicated to sav-
ing Detroit's own "field of
dreams," recently unveiled a
proposal for stadium renova-
tions Which would reconcile
the needs of the team and the
wishes of the fans.
Bensky continues as a
member of the club's steering
committee.

basketball 44-43, Feb. 11 at
the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Jewish Community Center.
Chanan Kroll made the
first of two free throws with
two seconds left to win the
game. Michael Greenbaum
missed a three-pointer at the
buzzer for YI-Southfield.
Kroll led YI-Greenfield
with 16 points, followed by El-
ly Lasson with 14.
Michael Mann led YI-
Southfield with 18 points,
followed by Neal Blavin with
11 points.

There will be separate boys' and girls' teams for the team sports.
Individual sports will be competed separately for boys and girls
by age groups. Everyone is encouraged to try out for multiple
sports to maximize their chances of making the Detroit Team.
