SZ Honors
Dr. Stulberg

Each year, the Shaarey
Zedek Men's Club honors a
prominent person as its "Man
of the Year" for his eforts
toward improving life in
southeast Michigan. The
Shaarey Zedek Men's Club
will celebrate Men's Club
Shabbat March 10 and honor
Dr. Samuel Stulberg during
services and at the luncheon
following.
Dr. Stulberg received the
Maimonides Award from the
State of Israel in 1980. He
also received the Distinguish-
ed Merit Award from the In-
ternational Alpha Omega
Dental Fraternity. Dr.
Stulberg has been a member
of the synagogue Board of
Trustees since 1975 and a
member of Shaarey Zedek for
almost 50 years. Dr. Stulberg
has served on the education
and youth committees, co-
chaired the music division of
our Cultural Commission and
was its chairman since 1982.
Dr. Stulberg chaired the lun-
cheon study groups with Rab-
bi Morris Adler of blessed
memory. In 1983, Dr.
Stulberg led a cultural Corn-
mission trip to Israel with
Cantor and Mrs. Najman. For
