The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center's Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris building will offer
the following activities:
Feb. 16 — Julie Wolf teaches
a new craft each week at
10:30 a.m. in Room 9. AARP
Tax Assistance is offered from
9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Israel
Klaymer leads the open
discussion group, "Love of
Learning" at 12:30 p.m. in-
Room 4. A weekly Erev Shab-
bat program featuring Cantor
Max Shimansky will begin at
12:30 p.m. in Jaffe Hall.
Feb. 18 — Bingo, with prizes
and refreshments will be of-
fered at 2 p.m. There is a
charge.
Feb. 19 — Early risers will
go for the "Morning Walk" at
7:15 a.m. in the gym. Harriet
Gelfond will teach art class at
9 a.m. in Room 11. Mother's
Club will meet at noon in
Jaffe Hall for bagels and
bingo. Members raise money
for spiritual adoptions of
children in Israel. Rabbi
Gorrelick will lecture at
12:30 p.m. in Room 4. The
Mah Jongg players will begin
games at 12:30 p.m. in Room
15. Linda Kayes will present
a class on Israel — Past and
Present at 1:30 p.m. in

Feb. 20 — Frances Weinberg
will present a book review of

in Room 4. The Sinai Well-
ness Series will offer vision

Feb. 21 — The Widowed
Support Group will meet at
10:30 a.m. in Room 3. Explore
the Bible with Stanley Clam-
mage at 11 a.m. in Room 4.

Rabbi Gorrelick will lecture
at 12:30 p.m. in Room 4. The
Wednesday Afternoon Social
will offer music and songs at
1 p.m. in Jaffe Hall. From
1:30 to 3 p.m. Dr. Aubrey
Goldman and Shirley
Kramer, R.N. of Sinai
Hospital, will provide health
screenings for senior adults.
Feb. 22 — The Center Men's
Forum led by Ted Masser man
will meet at 10:30 a.m. in-
Room 4. A Match Made In
Heaven, a Yiddish language
film will be shown at the
Culture Club at 12:30 p.m. in
Jaffe Hall. Irving Herman
will conduct Press Review at
12:45 p.m. in Room 15. The
Thursday Afternoon Video
Feature will be Lawrence of
Arabia
Part 2 shown at
1:30 p.m. in the Atrium with
a repeat performance Friday
10 a.m. in the Assembly Hall.

Officer Speaks
To Seniors

The Seniors of Congrega-
tion Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses will present Officer Joe
Chapin of the West Bloom-
field Police Department at
their meeting 10 a.m. Feb. 18
in the synagogue.
Officer Chapin will speak
on crime prevention for older
residents. A continental
breakfast will be served.
There is no charge.

Senior Men
Hear Speaker

Southfield Senior Men's
Club will hold their general
meeting 1 p.m. Feb. 21 at
McDonnell Senior Adult
Center. The guest speaker
will be Eli E. Robinson, CPA
and president of the
Southfield City Council. His
subject will be "Taxes."

Seniors Form
Walking Club

The Senior Adult depart-
ment of the Maple-Drake
building of the Jewish Com-
munity Center will hold a
Walking Club 9 a.m. every
Tuesday and Thursday morn-
ing. There is no charge.
