GREAT IDEA FOR WINTER DINNER

21/2 lb. Empire kosher chicken
1 /2 cup margarine
1 tsp. salt
1 /2 cup flour
8 small potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
8 oz. can cream of chicken soup combined with a
can of water
1 /2 tsp. paprika

Cut up chicken. Combine salt and paprika and flour, in
plastic bag. Place chicken pieces in bag and shake.
Heat 1 /2 cup margarine in a skillet and place chicken in
skillet, brown both sides over medium heat. Add potato
slices and carrot slices. Pour chicken soup mixture over
everything. Let simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Serves 6-8. 340 calories per 8-ounce serving
