first-ever 300 game, bowling
in the Senior House Tuesday
Night League at the Bel
Aire Lanes in Farmington.
Rossman notched a 695
series.
Two bowlers were near-
perfect in other action. Phil
Perlstein, bowling for
Morganthau-L'Chayim in
the Wednesday Night B'nai
B'rith League at Thunder-
bird Lanes in Troy, rolled a
279 game, as did Ted Gold-
berg, bowling in the Monday
Night B'nai B'rith League at
Country Lanes in Farm-
ington Hills.
Brothers Steve Lublin and
Harold Lublin were stan-
douts in the Interlodge
Masonic League at Plum
Hollow, with Steve rolling a
252 game and Harold a 640
series.
The Plum Hollow Senior
Citizens League's Bright
Spotters team had its share
of stars recently, with Nate
Barman recording a 237
game and 631 series and Abe
Brownston scoring a 584
series, Dan Brickner a 572
and Louis Wanger a 541.

AZA Basketball
Fields 15 Teams

AZA basketball is in full
swing, playing alongside
Metro-Detroit B'nai B'rith
men's leagues at Oakland
Community College — Or-
chard Ridge.
With 15 teams this year, up
from 12 in 1989, some 138
boys are participating in
B'nai B'rith Youth Organiza-
tion league competition.
League coordinator is
Joshua Polsky of Herzl AZA,
last year's most valuable
player who lives in Windsor.
League play runs through
the end of April, with a
playoff series concluding the
season.
