IDF Donations Honor
Soldier Killed In Sinai
Three donations totaling
$15,000 for Israeli roadside
hitchiking stations, given in
memory of Uri Weitzberg,
who was killed in the Sinai
Campaign, have been receiv-
ed by the Michigan Friends of
the Israel Defense Forces.
The donations were from
Julius and Anna Spielberg;
the Harry Granaders, Norma
Gorosh and Hadar and
Ronald Granader, all
relatives of Weitzberg.
The Spielbergs are raising
additional funds for other
Michigan IDF projects, said
Morton L. Feldman, state
chairman.
The Michigan IDF chapter
Lubavitch Women
Host Program
The Lubavitch Women's
Organization will host a
melava malka, 8:30 p.m. Feb.
17 at the Lubavitch Educa-
tion Center.
The program will pay
tribute to the memory of the
late Rebbetzen Chaya
Mushka Schneerson, wife of
the Lubavitcher Rebbe. A
video will be presented depic-
ting the life of the Rebbetzin.
Rabbi Chaim M. Bergstein
of the Bais_ Chabad of Farm-
ington Hills will speak on,
"The Legacy of the Rebbet-
zin." The guest speaker, Rab-
bi Yisroel Deren, regional
director of Chabad in western
and southern New England
will speak on "From Theory
to Practice: Applying the
Teachings of Chassidus in
Day-to-Day Living."

tenure of Prime Minister
Menachem Begin, will speak
at the Einstein Luncheon
Forum at noon Feb. 14. at the
Zionist Cultural Center. He
will discuss "The Peace Pro-
cess Since the Yom Kippur
War."
Naor is serving as research
fellow at the Davis Institute
for International Relations in
Jerusalem. He also is a
regular columnist for Israeli
dailies Yediot Archronot,
Ha'aretz and the Jerusalem
Post.
