Chabad Center
Sets Program

Rabbi Elimelech Silberberg
of Bais Chabad Torah Center
will speak on "The Holiday of
Tu B'Shevat" at the Ann Ar-
bor Chabad House 8 p.m. Feb.
4.
Rabbi Silberberg will speak
on "The Lubavitcher Rebbe —
Celebrating 40 Years Of
Leadership" 8:15 p.m. Feb. 5
at the Torah Center. The lec-
ture is part of the Monday
night lecture series on basic
Judaism.
Bais Chabad Torah Center
will have its annual M'lava
Malka at 8:30 p.m. on Tu
B'Shevat, Feb. 10, at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center.
The M'lava Malka will
mark the eighth anniversary
of the Torah Center. The
year's honoree is Morris
Mandelbaum, who has served
on the board of the Torah
Center since its inception.
The M'lava Malka will also
have live musical enter-
tainment as well as a video
of Chabad's international
Chanukah candle lighting
service.
Judaica art work of Danika
design will be displayed. Pro-
ceeds of the sale will benefit
the Center.

Rabbi Wine

The Center for New Think-
ing will present Sherwin
Wine 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at the
Bloomfield rIbwnship Library.
Wine will speak on Christian
Fundamentalism: Being Born
Again.
On Feb. 8, Rabbi Wine will
review QED: The Strange
Theory of Light and Matter by
Richard Feynman. The talk
will be given at 10 a.m. at the
Somerset Mall Auditorium,
Troy.
