• 1 teaspoon Liquid Spice garlic.

Measure all ingredients in-
to a small bowl. Whisk togeth-
er. Serve over Romaine lettuce
or other salad greens.

AMAZING PESTO

• 5 oz (1/2 package) frozen chop-
ped spinach, thawed and
drained
• 1/4 cup (heaping) chopped
walnuts
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
cheese
• 2 tablespoons Liquid Spice
Basil
• 1 teaspoon Liquid Spice Garlic
• 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
• ih cup olive oil

Each 1/4 lb. burger contains approx:
5 grams fat
60 calories
32 grams protein
110 mg. sodium
3 mg iron
80 mg cholesterol

Place all ingredients, except
olive oil in food processor
bowl. Blend on high, with
steel blade, until smooth,
about 15 seconds. Slowly driz-
zle olive oil over and process.

Onion

feet will be restored in their

Golden has long been a sup-
porter of Jewish National
Fund. He recently establish-
ed a Recreational Facility
near Haifa. He is a founder of
Temple Kol Ami and is
presently the president of
American Friends of Haifa

University Midwest Region.
Golden has established a
cafeteria at Haifa University
and is also the recipient of the
Mt. Carmel Award of Merit.

Campaign Workers
To Hold Meetings

Allied Jewish Campaign
workers will tour the new
Ben and Harriett Teitel
Jewish Federation Apart-
ments building, after an
8 a.m. breakfast meeting,
Feb. 6.
The visit will allow Cam-
paign workers to see one of
Federation's agencies in ac-
tion. An overview of Federa-
tion Apartments and an up-
date on the Campaign are on
the agenda.
On March 7, workers will
have breakfast at Jewish
Family Service, where they
will hear the latest informa-
tion on Soviet Jewish,
resettlement.

Lubavitch Hosts
Russian Teens

Lubavitch of Michigan will
host Russian teenagers in
weekly sessions on basic
Judaism 3:30 p.m.
Wednesdays at the Berkley
High School.
The classes will be led by
Rabbi Chaim M. Bergstein
and Rabbi Elimelech Silber-
berg. Transportation will be
provided.
