We Specialize In Jewelry & Watch Repair Everts' Paintings At Joy Emery The Joy Emery Gallery in Grosse Pointe Farms will exhibit "Connor Everts: Re- cent Paintings," Feb. 9 through March 17. Everts, who was artist-in- residence at Cranbrook Academy of Art from 1976 to 1981, is a west coast painter. Most of Everts' earlier work is confrontational, in- cluding a 1963 exhibition based on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy which was closed by the police. Ten years later, in 1973, Everts did a series of works on the death of his friend Salvadore Allende, the assassinated President of Chili.
