Reunion Honors
Bershad Monday

Reservations are still being
accepted for the 25-year reu-
nion of Jewish Community
Center boys varsity basket-
ball team alumni, scheduled
for 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Maple-
Drake Building.
Barry Bershad, volunteer
coach of the varsity since the
1963-64 season, will be
recognized and memorabilia
will be collected for a perma-
nent JCC display. Some reu-
nion T-shirts also will be
available.
Donations to benefit future
youth basketball programs
are requested. For informa-

the Detroit Maccabi team for
the summer's JCC-North
American Maccabi Youth
Games, to be hosted by

Play is being organized in
three age groupings to try to

Take Volleyball

Keidan won the Division A
playoff championship and
Detroit No. 1 the Division B
in the Metro Detroit B'nai
B'rith Men's Volleyball
League. In regular-season
play, Centennial replaced
perennial champ Keidan in
the A Division while Detroit
No. 1 took the "B" crown.
