Jeremy Lubin, son of

Adat Shalom Synagogue
with Ilya Kirnos, son of Sofia
and Mikhail Kirnos of Kiev
in the Soviet Union.
The Kirnos family, who
just received permission to
emigrate to Israel, first ap-
plied for visas in January
1979. They had been refused
permission on grounds of
"insufficient kindship in
Israel."

Segal Speaks
On Mideast

The Greater Detroit Jewish
Coalition for Peace in the
Middle-East and Temple
Emanu-El Social Action com-
mittee will host a program at
7:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at the temple.
Dr. Jerome M. Segal will
speak on "Can The Israeli-
Palestinian Conflict Be
Resolved?" Segal is founder of
the Jewish Peace Lobby, an
organization working to pro-
mote a just and lasting
resolution to the Israeli-
Paletinian conflict.
