"Not every bride can afford a $900
gown. So we offer something less ex-
pensive," says Demetrios, the astute
businessman.
To offer the diversity in style and
price, Demetrios creates three dif-

Sophisticate gowns are simple yet
elegant. The Ilissa Bridal line usually
has beads and lace. The Sposabella
collection offers a European high
fashion look with imported lace. The
Demetrios Couture line is the most
elaborate, and the most expensive.
"It's a high fashion style. We use
all-silk and the finest materials. The
gowns are hand-beaded. They are on-
ly available at 50 stores in the United
States," explains Demetrios of the
Couture Line.
Prices range from $2,000 to
$7,000 for the couture gowns. The
detailing on the gown is incredible,
and the lace patterns are intricate.
There are more beads and pearls than
anyone would care to count. It
sometimes takes two hangers to hold
up a heavily beaded, silk shantung
gown, but the overall look is opulent.
The Sposabella line is sophisti-
cated. Many gowns have off-the-
