Mr. and Mrs. Julian
Magnus of Cincinnati, Ohio,
announce the engagement of
their daughter Nancy Edith
to Sandford Robert Kopnick,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kop-
nick of Oak Park.
Miss Magnus earned a
bachelor's degree from Duke
University and her master's
in special education from
Peabody College of Vanderbilt
University. She is the coor-
dinator of a home-based train-
ing program for the families
of individuals who are men-
tally retarded.
Sandford received a
bachelor's degree with honors
from the University of
Michigan and a Master of
Arts in Hebrew Letters from
the Hebrew Union College.
He will be ordained a rabbi in
May.
A fall wedding is planned.
