early American Jewish
history. A 1989 summer video
about camp may also be view-
ed, and staff will be available
to answer questions about
camp.
There is no charge, but a
donation to aid the homeless
is suggested.

Beth Shalom Youth
Plan Programs

Beth Shalom Yachad youth
group (grades 3-5) will hold a
prize party and video 11:45
a.m. on Jan. 14 in the
synagogue youth lounge.
There is a charge. For reser-

Yachad will hold its annual
Camp Tamarack Breakaway
weekend for children Jan.
26-28 at the Ortonville camp-
site. The program will consist
of cultural and social ac-
tivities including outdoor
tobogganing, hayride and
cook-out, along with indoor
games, storytelling and a
talent show.
The theme for the weekend
will be Soviet Jewry. For in-
