Hilberry Theater Stages 'Execution' Execution of Justice, by award-winning playwright Emily Maim, opens 8 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Hilberry Theater. The drama is based on the controversial trial of former San Francisco Supervisor Dan White for the 1978 double murder of San Fran- cisco Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk, a gay activist. The trial made history when White, who confessed to the murders, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter rather than first degree murder. There is a charge.
