Theater.
The drama is based on the
controversial trial of former
San Francisco Supervisor
Dan White for the 1978
double murder of San Fran-
cisco Mayor George Moscone
and Supervisor Harvey
Milk, a gay activist. The
trial made history when
White, who confessed to the
murders, was convicted of
voluntary manslaughter
rather than first degree
murder.
