o be chosen for appear-
ance in the upcoming
edition of Who's Who
in United States High Schools
is quite an honor in itself.
But Paul Levine, son of
June and Richard Levine and
a senior at Harrison High in
Farmington Hills, also follows
in his dad's footsteps by being
a National Merit. Award semi-
finalist among students from
throughout the country . . .
whose resumes in essay form
are judged by the National
Merit Scholarship Board.
Richard was a National
Merit Scholar at Bedford
High in Massachusetts.
Representative William
Broomfield has nominated
Paul for the U.S. Naval
Academy . . . and he has also
been accepted by the College
of Engineering at University
of Michigan.
HAD ONLY one report on
the six high school reunions
held recently the same even-
ing . . . Nov. 25 . . . Southfield
High class of '79 shindig was
with about 350 grads at
Sheraton Oaks . . . Would
have been more, says Steve
Cohen, but a lot of spouses at-
tended Southfield-Lathrup
High . . . and that's where
many Southfield High cap 'n
gowners were counted . . . Too
bad there wasn't a combined
effort for these two shcools.
MONIQUE is a 2-year-old
Bijon puppy who gets quite
jealous.
When Marge and Jerry
Robbins went to West Hills,
Calif., recently for birth of
their fifth grandchild, Keith
Harrison, to daughter Nancy
and son-in-law Marshall
Mandell, Monique also had to
get into the act.
Two days later, she gave
birth to five puppies . . . Also
not to be left out, their other
dog, 6-year-old Bijon, Maggie,
did her curtain call with a
couple of puppies herself .. .
a day later.
Jerry, by the way, has been
having his own troubles .. .
He hasn't been able to get a
driver's license renewal under
the Robbins name because of
a discovery that his birth cer-
tificate makes him legally
with only one "B" . . . Jerry
has to take legal steps to alter
the situation and make hint
a bona fide two "B" er again.

"PROBABLY THE WORST THING I EVER DID"

"I hate to go out to dinner, period! I had a million excuses.
The food's no good. The food's good, but over-priced. The
food's o.k., but the place is too far. The food and music are
lousy. The service is horrible. Last week I ran out of excuses.-

demns sins but never upsets
anyone.
He works from 8 a.m. until
midnight and is also a janitor
. . . He makes $50 a week,
wears good clothes, buys good
books, drives a good car and
gives about $50 weekly to the
poor . He is 28 years old
and has preached 30 years .. .
He has a burning desire to
work with teenagers and
spends all his time with
senior citizens.

the time with a straight face
because he has . a sense of
humor that keeps him
seriously dedicated to his

bi back in less than three
months.

psychiatrist and says, "Doc-
tor, it's my sex life. It stinks,
abslutely stinks" . . . The doc-
tor thinks for a minute and
says, "You need exercise. I
want you to run every day,
two miles a day. It'll improve
your heart rate, your general
well-being, your self image,
your libido. Then call me in a
week" . . . A week later man
calls the psychiatrist and
says, "Well, doc, I've been run-
ning two miles a day just like
you said" . . . Doctor says, "So
how's your sex life?" . . . Man
says, "I don't know. I'm 14
miles from home."
