Marci Beth Uzansky and
Alexander. Howard Benson
were,recently married at Con-
gregation. Shaarey Zedek. Of-
ficiating at the ceremony
were Rabbi Irwin Groner,
Cantors Chaim Najman,
Sidney Rube and Harold
Orbach.
The bride is the daughter of
Dr. Jerry and Fran Uzansky.
The bridegroom is the son of
Marty and Sandy Benson and
Merle and Stan Bassin.
The maid of honor was
Pamela Singer. Bridesmaids
were Pamela Applebaum,
Pamela Eisenberg, Audrey
Lawson and Debra Singer.
Mitchell Benson, the

groom's brother, was best
man. Groomsmen were War-
ren Brasch, Jeffrey Brown,
Paul Harris, Dr. Sam Gray
and Mark Uzansky, brother of
the bride.
Marci's grandfathers, Leon
Golden and Ben Uzansky,
along with Alex's grandfather
David Gateman, also par-
ticipated in the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon in
the south of France, the cou-
ple is now residing in
Southfield. At present, Mar-
ci is completing her Master's
of Business Administration at
the University of Michigan
and Alex is pursuing his
career as an attorney.

munity Center's Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris Building will offer
the following programs:
Dec. 29 — The Erev Shabbat
program will be 12:30 p.m. in
Jaffe Hall. Cantor Max
Shimansky will lead the
service.
Dec. 31. — The movie classic,
Out of This World with Bing
Crosby, will be shown at 2
p.m. in the Assembly Hall.
Ja. 1 — The Center is clos-
ed due to the New Year
holiday.
Jan. 2 — The Tuesday lec-
ture will feature Ezekiel
Leiken of the Zionist
Organization of America at 1
p.m. in the Assembly Hall.
The movie I Wonder Who's
Kissing Her Now will follow
the lecture at 1:45 p.m.
Jan. 3 — The widowed sup-
port group will meet at 10:30
a.m. in Room 3. Chana Klein
will discuss Jewish literature
at 10:30 a.m. in Room 4. The
Wednesday afternoon social
will feature music and songs

beginning at 12:30 p.m. in
Jaffe Hall.
Jan. 4 — Naomi Levine will
lead Communications, a
round table discussion group
at. 10 a.m., Room 9. Press
Review with Irving Herman
will offer a discussion of cur-
rent events at 12:30 p.m. in
Room 15. The Yiddish
Culture Club will not meet
today. Thursday afternoon's
video feature, Yentl, will be
shown at 1:30 p.m. in the
Atrium, with a repeat perfor-
mance Friday morning, at 10
a.m. in the Assembly Hall.

Senior Choir
Seeks Members

The Senior Adult Choir of
the Jewish Community
Center's Jimmy Prentis Mor-
ris Building, under the direc-
tion of, Vivian Stollman,
meets Mondays at 12:30 p.m.
in Room 2.
The choir sings all-time
favorites and traditional Yid-
dish folk tunes. All are
welcome.
