Wins 'Eliminator'

Shel Rakotz of the Pisgah
League bowled a 673 series,
127 pins over average, to win
the first B'nai B'rith Men's
Eliminator Tournament.
Mark Wernuth of the Mix &
Match League and Ron Good-
man of Pisgah tied for second-
place with 92 pins over
average.
Sy Zate, tournament direc-
tor said there were 126 en-
tries from the nine B'nai
B'rith Men's Bowling
Association leagues, accor-
ding to Sy Zate, tourney
director.
The association hopes to
repeat the tournament next
spring.
Tourney runners-up, in
order, were Mort Friedman,
Pisgah; Gary Berman,
Downtown-Fox; Alan Shapiro,
Larry Silver and David
Baumhaft, all Brotherhood-
Eddie Jacobson; Alan Borsen,
Ben Lusky; and Mary Dictor,
Pisgah.
