Holds Mini Yeshiva

Bais Chabad Torah Center
and Bais Chabad of Farm-
ington Hills will conduct a
mini yeshiva from Dec. 25
through Jan. 1.
Classes will focus on
Talmud, Bible, Jewish law
and Jewish mysticism. For in-

Bais Chabad Torah Center
will hold two classes in
January on the new Stein-
saltz edition of the Talmud.
The first class will be offered

will speak on "Dreams — A
Torah Perspective" at 8:15

Diversity of Jewish Obser-
vance and Family Conflict,"

L'Torah.
Lisa Ferstenfeld, Marcia
Ferstenfeld and Gail Shiff-
man Hennes, will discuss
common tensions and feelings
from both perspectives that
arise when a member of a
non-Orthodox family becomes
more observant.

Machon Mbrah, the Jewish
Learning Network of
Michigan, will accept applica-
tions after Dec. 26 for its
"Sunday morning Yeshiva"
program.
This new program is design-
ed for Jewish college students
and young professional men
ages 18-45. Each participant
will either join a "Taste of
Talmud" class or study
another Jewish subject on a
one-to-one basis.
The program will be held
at Machon L'Torah between
10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. There is no

Rabbi Acquitted
Of Assault

Jerusalem (JTA) — A
Jerusalem magistrate ac-
quitted Rabbi Moshe Lev-
inger of assault charges last
week, after discounting the
testimony of an Arab family.
Judge Joel Tzur also found
the militant Gush Emunim
leader from Hebron not guil-
ty of insulting an Israel
Defense Forces soldier who
intervened.
