dinal John O'Connor said.

dinner of the Jewish Foun-
dation for Christian Res-
cuers. "I share the anguish
and the agony of what
happened to the Jews."
Stressing the importance
of remembering what
happened to the Jewish peo-
ple throughout history, he
offered his counsel: "You

yourselves or your children
to forget the suffering. You
Christians — never forget
the guilt."
