Men's Eliminator
Finalists Named

The 10 finalists in the
Detroit B'nai B'rith Men's
Eliminator bowling tourna-
ment were to compete in the
final round this week for the
championship.
The title will go to the
bowler with the most pins-
over-average for three games,
as bowled during his regular
bowling night, according to
Sy Zate, tournament director.
The finalists, from an in-
itial field of 126 entries, and
their leagues are Alan
Borsen, Ben Lusky League;
Alan Shapiro, Brotherhood-
Eddie; Larry Silver and
David Baumhaft, Jacobson;
Gary Berman, Downtown-
Fox; Mark Wermuth, Mix &
Match; and Shel Rakotz, Mort
Friedman, Ron Goodman and
Mary Dictor, Pisgah.

B'nai B'rith Men
Forming Leagues

The B'nai B'rith Bowling
Association will form three
new leagues for the re-
mainder of the season.
One will be a senior citizens
mixed league bowling mid-
day at West Bloomfield
Lanes. A second will have
eight teams and bowl at Novi
Lanes 7:15 p.m. Monday
nights, while the third will be
an 8:15 p.m. Wednesday night
league at Novi, also with
eight teams.
There still are openings for
bowlers in the Sunday morn-
ing and Monday, Wednesday
and Thursday night leagues.
