A tour of the Holocaust
Center on Dec. 10 and a
Chanukah latke party and
dinner Dec. 21 are planned by
the Jewish Community
Center Social Singles (40-60).
The 2 p.m. Holocaust tour
will meet in the Maple-Drake
JCC lobby. Admission is free
but is limited to 50. Dinner
will follow at Ryan's Tavern.

Space Announces
Monthly Schedule
A workshop entitled "Man
and Woman: Making It
Thgether," will be presented
by Space, Room to Grow,
7:15 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Space
office.
Under - direction of Nick
Berar, a 10-year-veteran of
the personal growth and
development field, the
workshop will show how to
discover desired outcomes,
overcome obstacles, imple-
ment effective actions, gain
cooperation, stay on track and
experience dignity.
Reservations are required.
Also offered in December
will be two drop-in discussion
groups with special topics.
On Dec. 13, the topic will be
"Building A New Life," while
on Dec. 27, the topic will be
"Looking Ahead." Both pro-
grams begin at 7:15 p.m. at
the Space office.
Drop-in discussion groups

evenings each month, with
topics left to participants'
choosing on alternate
Wednesdays.

sons who are separted, divorc-
ed or widowed, and their

'Addictive' Session
Set For Singles
The Jewish Community
Center Singles -(25-45) will
offer an addictive relationship
workshop, 7:30 p.m. Dec. 20 at
the Maple-Drake Building,
featuring Barbara Lewis,
psychologist at the Center for
Contemporary Psychology.
The program will offer in-
formation and experiential
activities on the addictive
nature of loving too much, as
well as cross-addictions with
other compulsive behaviors
such as alcoholism, eating
disorders, exercising, shopp-
ing, gambling and television.
There is an admission
charge.
Single Parents
Plan Celebration
The Jewish Community
Center's Single Parent Fami-
ly Club will host a Chanukah
bingo party, 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at
the Maple-Drake Building.
Parents who are single,
together with their children
ages 5-16 are invited.
