Stollman acknowledges that her active fundraising abilities were encouraged by her good friend, Tillie Brandwine, and her late mother-in-law, Frieda Stollman. Another good friend, Doreen Hermelin, was responsible for Barbara's involvement with Israel Bonds. Stollman began working with Israel Bonds eight years ago and is now the national women's chairman. She admits this is a full time job but acknowledges that she rarely says no to community involvement. She is a past president of the American Women for Bar-Ilan University. The Stollman family helped create Bar-Ilan and they recently
