nual Jason Bradley Kott
Memorial Scholarship, a $500
award for attending Camp
Ramah.
All area Jewish students
are eligible for consideration
based on the following
criteria: current attendance
at an institution of Jewish
learning — Jewish day school
or Agency for Jewish Educa-
tion; plans to attend Camp
Ramah; financial need.
In addition, applicants will
be asked to submit a letter ex-
plaining "What A Summer
At Camp Ramah Means To
Ma"
Applications, which are due
by March 1, should be sent to

Adat Shalom Synagogue
will host a city-wide slide
show and information session
about Camp Ramah in
Canada 7 p.m. Dec. 3. Anyone
considering a summer at
Camp Ramah and all former
Ramahniks are invited to this
ice cream social. Ramah ex-
ecutive staff members Rabbi
Chuck Diamond, Cindy
Friedman and Miriam
Starkman will answer
questions.
Camp Ramah accepts boys
and girls ages 9-16 for an
eight-week session. Campers
in grades 3-7 also may choose
a one-month session.

and Freeman, at an Institute
of Human Relations dinner 6

Hotel — Detroit.
Van Dussen will receive the
Judge Learned Hand Award
which was established in
memory of Judge Learned
Hand, Senior Judge of the
United States. Court of Ap-
peals for the Second Circuit
1924-1951. Judge Avern L.
Cohn is chairman of the
evening.
