Memorial Exhibit
At CCS Gallery

The Center for Creative
Studies, college of art and
design, will present "Brian
Buczak: A Memorial Exhibi-
tion," in the college's
galleries, 15 E. Kirby,
Detroit, through Dec. 15.
The exhibition includes 50
paintings, books of drawings
and sculpture created by
Buczak from 1976 until his
death from AIDS-related il-
lness in 1987.

Joy Emery Sets
'Image and Object'

The Joy Emery Gallery in
Grosse Pointe Farms will
exhibit work by contem-
porary artists in "Image and
Object" through Dec. 30.
Planned' for the holiday.
season, "Image and Object"
will offer paintings, prints
and drawings by several ar-
tists.

Floor Art Exhibit
At Hayman Gallery

Fran Rubenstein, of
Wisconsin Contemporary',
will have her floorcloths and
wall hangings on display
through Nov. 28 at The Lin-
da Hayman Gallery in Far-
mington. Hills.

Mintz's Colors
At Portnoy Gallery

The Lynn Portnoy Gallery
in Detroit will feature works
by Sybil Mintz of West
Bloomfield through Nov. 28.
Her works include color
paintings and note cards
that are reproductions of her
paintings. They are Mintz's
world of dreams and loosely
painted, warm colored im-
pressions of the Israeli coun-
tryside.

'Object of Wonder'
At Detroit Gallery

The Detroit Gallery of
Contemporary Crafts will
have its 14th annual holiday
show, "Objects of Wonder
and Delight,"-through Dec.
31.
The show features hand-
crafted jewelry, clothing,
glass, ceramics, jewelry
boxes and furniture.
