If Youlliink all Kosher Chickens

are the Same, lhinkAgain!

At Empire Kosher, we breed them, hatch them, feed them, grow them
and process them. That's the Empire Kosher difference.

Every chick-

en used in Empire's Grow-Out program is hatched
in our own facility. Every single chick leaving our
hatchery meets Empire's uncompromising stand-
ards for the highest kosher quality.

Consider the Empire Control.

At Empire Kosher, the world's largest producer of-
naturally grown, kosher poultry, we've been process-
ing chickens for over 50 years with strict adherence to
the laws of Kashruth. We've been doing it without
hormones, without artificial ingredients and without
growth stimulants -- long before consumers became
concerned with what they're eating.
In today's world of highly processed foods where
labels read like a chemistry textbook, our Empire
Kosher poultry is still grown and processed naturally.
We use only cold water which we believe helps keep
contamination and bacterial
growth to a minimum.

From breeding to finished
product, we consider Em-
pire Kosher's totally in-
tegrated process unique
among kosher poultry
processors in the United
States and possibly the
world. Of course, the entire
process is under uncom-
promising Rabbinical super-
vision.

All feed used
Consider the Feeding •
in the growing of Empire Kosher poultry is
produced by our own feed mill under Rabbinic
supervision. From the purchase of only the best
raw grain to the exact formulation of the highest
quality, all natural feed, and the manufacture of
complete and nutritionally balanced feed ra-
tions, Empire Kosher is in control every step
of the way. •Empire Kosher relies on a net-
work of local farmers to raise our ko-
sher chickens to our exacting stan-
dards. Proper care and feeding of
Empire's chickens are carefully
monitored throughout the grow-
ing process. In accordance with
the Jewish dietary laws, all animals
must be humanely treated. Thus, Empi-
re's special poultry is allowed freedom from
cages and allowed to roam in chicken houses.

Consider the Processing.

Our
processing plant is the most modern kosher
poultry plant in the United States. It is especially
designed for kosher product flow. Under constant
Rabbinic supervision, Empire Kosher strives for a
minimum of product handling to bring consumers
everywhere an assured quality kosher product.
Often, USDA approved poultry is rejected by O-U
Rabbinic supervisors. Therefore, only unques-
tionably kosher poultry which meets all the stand-
ards of Kashruth carry the Empire "Symbol of
Excellence" wing clip.

Consider the Breeding •

Not every
breed of chicken is suitable for the kosher process.
Consequently, Empire Kosher has been instrumental
in the development of an exceptional breed of chick-
en, exclusively created for the demanding kosher
market. The special Empire . Kosher chicken is express-
ly chosen for its superior eating quality. At our breed-
ing farm, our geneticists hand-select stock for the
leanest Empire Kosher chicken possible, with thinner,
less fatty skin and more meat. Empire chickens are
allowed extra time to develop maximum flavor, result-
ing in the world-famous Empire kosher excellence.
