Friedman Places
At 'Visions' Exhibit
Henry Friedman won the
second place award in the
International Fine Arts
Competition "Transforming
Visions '89 Exhibit" recent-
ly held at Detroit's Sword
into Plowshares.
His winning sculpture,
"Fallen Soldier," along with
all of Friedman's works,
deals with Jewish history
and the Holocaust.
The work of local artist
Minnie Berman is also on
exhibit. Her entries, "Never
Again" and "And it is
Written," are watercolors.
The exhibition will be at
the Peace Center and
Gallery, 45 E. Adams,
Detroit, through Dec. 28.
