Temple Plans
Family Service
Temple Ernanu-El's first
Young Family Service will be
held 10:15 a.m. Nov. 18.
Participants will learn
about Shabbat through
music, stories, puppetry and
dance. Toddlers through
seven-year-olds will have an
opportunity to celebrate
Judaism in the temple set-
ting. During the month of a
child's birthday, birthday
blessings and a gift will be
presented.
Future dates for Young
Family Shabbat Services are
Nov. 18, Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Feb.
10, March 17, April 7 and
May 12.
Abortion Panel
At Beth Abraham
Beth Abraham Hillel Moses
Men's Club will hold a
breakfast forum 10 a.m.
Sunday at the synagogue.
A panel discussion on
"Jewish Views on Abortion"
will be held.
Serving on the panel will be
Rabbi Ernst Conrad of Tem-
ple Kol Ami, Rabbi David
Nelson of Congregation Beth
Shalom, and Rabbi Sherman
Kirshner of Congregation
B'nai Israel. Rabbi A. Irving
Schnipper will serve as
moderator. A question and
answer period will follow the
presentatins.
The community is invited.
There is no charge.

Congregation Beth Achim
Men's Club will hold an art
auction Nov. 18 in the
synagogue.
The preview will be held at
7:30 p.m. and the auction will
begin at 8 p.m.
A free lithograph will be
given to each couple or single
attending the auction.
There is a charge.
Refreshments will be served.

The Men's Club of Adat
Shalom Synagogue will hold
its annual Feather Party 7:30
p.m. on Thursday at the
synagogue.
The event will include
games, prizes and

synagogue members.
