Adat Shalom Synagogue is a new site for Sinai Hospital's Lamaze instruction, which together with a series on Jewish parenting will corn- prise the synagogue's 1989-90 Lamazel Tov program. Lamazel 'Thy is co-sponsored by Jewish Experiences for Families. Seven-week session Lamaze instruction will be held begin- ing 7 p.m. Jan. 2, Feb. 14, March 29, June 6 and July 19. There is a charge. Jewish parenting will be the theme of a three-week series 7:30 pm. March 1, 8 and 15. Ibpics to be discuss- ed include Hebrew names, Jewish birth rituals and Jewish home life. Participants in the Jewish parenting ses- sions are Rabbis Efry Spectre and Elliot Pachter of Adat Shalom, a pediatrician and a specialist in family therapy and parenting. There is no charge.
