Michigan Hillel
Planning Programs

The B'nai B'rith Hillel
Foundation at the University
of Michigan, Ann Arbor, is
planning events.
Monday at noon in the
Frieze Building, the Jewish
Social Work Students
Association will have their
monthly brown bag lunch for
Social Work students. Discus-
sion will focus on plans and
program ideas.
At 7:30 p.m. in Hillel,
halachic perspectives on abor-
tion will be the topic of Sonia
Syme's talk. She has taught
at the Midrasha-College of
Jewish Studies in Southfield.
Talk to Us, Hillel's own in-
teractive theater troupe,
presents "Who's In Charge
Here, Anyway?" 8 p.m. Tues-
day. This performance is part
of a workshop/discussion
about leadership skills and
the difficulty of effective
group interaction.
A Meal Sacrifice for the
Hungry will take place Tues-
day and Wednesday. Students
who live in a residence hall
may sign up to donate their
dinner meal. All money will

be donated to Mazon, an
organization to help the
hungry.
The 11th Annual Con-
ference on the Holocaust will
hold its first mass meeting 7
p.m. Wednesday in Hillel.
On Thursday. at 7:30 p.m. in
Hillel, "The Future of
Zionism" will be the topic of
Prof. Todd Endelman. He will
look at past trends as a guide
for his own ideas as to where
Zionism will be headed.
The Hillel Social Club will
sponsor a hayride at 8 p.m.
Thursday. Deadline for reser-
vations and payment is today.
Hill Street Cinema will
feature The Times of Harvey
Milk 7 and 8:45 p.m. Thurs-
day. The Academy Award win-
ning documentary is set in
San Francisco in the 1970s.

"You've Got to be Kid-
ding: Did You Hear the One
About . . .?" will be the theme
of the monthly Grads and
Young Professionals Veggie
Shabbat Potluck Dinner 7:30
p.m. Nov. 10 in the Lawyer's
Club of the Law Quad.
