auctioneer at Congregation
B'nai Moshe's third annual
auction — Sherut '89 — Nov.
19 at the synagogue.
This year's auction includes
an autographed jersey of
Detroit Red Wing Captain
Steve Yzerman, a ride for two
in WJR's Jetcopter 76, a trip
to Toronto for two, a children's
library, jewelry and theater
tickets.
There is a charge for admis-
sion, which includes com-
plimentary wine and hors
d'oeuvres. The evening will
begin with a silent auction at
6:30 p.m.; the live auction will
follow at 7:30 p.m. The public
is invited. For information

B'nai David
Family Lunch

Congregation B'nai David
will hold its monthly Family
Shabbat Luncheon following
Nov. 11 services. •
Rabbi Morton Yolkut of
B'nai David will conduct a
discussion on the Torah por-
tion and Cantor Stuart Fried-
man will lead the traditional
Sabbath zemirot. A catered
lunch will be served at no
charge, but non-members are
asked to make reservations
by Tuesday.

Time" at Shabbat services 8
p.m. Nov. 10.
At 11 a.m. services Nov. 11,
he will lecture on "Knowing
What God Wants of Us."
Babysitting is available Nov.
