The great room leads to the upper
deck, which overlooks the pool. The
lower level family room leads out to the
pool and is the gathering place for
family parties and watching TV. Down
the hall is a separate suite used for out
of town guests.
To the left of the great room is the
master bedroom suite. The beige mar-
ble master bath has his and her
vanities, each with a view of the lake.
The bath leads to the outdoor Jacuzzi.
For additional storage, white ash
wood closets were added to the
master bedroom. Covering the bed is
a white cotton duvet with matching
pillows from Paper White. A pastel
watercolor market scene by Marjorie
Hecht adds color and charm to the
room, while the wicker chaise offers a
serene spot for the owner to relax with
a good book.

To the right of the great room is the
children's wing with three bedrooms.
Off the lower level family room is an ex-
ercise and play room that connects to
two additional storage rooms, one with
an extra kitchen.

Above: This remodeled lake front
home resembles a California beach
house. The sheep sculptures add a
country feeling. Left: Master bedroom
suite features white cotton duvet with
matching pillows and pastel accents.

Another wonderful feature of the
house is the breezeway which con-
nects the house and the garage. The
long wall is lined with built in storage
units designed by Jane Smitt for china,
coats and sports equipment.

Lake living for this owner is definite-
ly a family affair. "My mother lives
seven doors to my left; my grand-
mother lives next door; and my aunt
and uncle live three doors to my right.
My son sleeps in the room where I
slept as a child. We all love it here
because even on the ugliest days, the
lake is beautiful."
