Each week, Winnie, the 1990s version of Samantha on "Bewitched," dazzles the kids with a diplay of wit- chcraft as she plays the Harper family's housekeeper. Gross's character gets along well with his older brother and sister on the show. But at home and with his sibling, 6-year-old Yair — "I get along with my brother only half of the time, and half of the time we fight." Even when they do argue, Yair still remains a dedicated fan, watching all of his brother's shows. When Gross tapes "Free Spirit," his brother often comes down to the studio. "He and I are completely the opposite," Gross said of his brother, who he calls "Yo" for short. "He doesn't want to be an actor; he wants to be an artist." When Gross is not on the set, he attends a private school in Santa Monica. "I try not to talk that much about acting when I'm at school," he said. "But my friends think it's pretty cool, and a lot of them watch me." He returns to Israel almost every summer. "I really like it there; that's where most of my family lives." Although he has basically forgotten how to speak his native tongue, Hebrew, Gross said he is starting to brush up again. "I have to prepare for my bar mitzvah; it's only two years away."
