Sweitzer wrote in The Sun
after David Syme, son of Rab-

gave his recent concert with
the Flagstaff, Ariz. Sym-

. . . "An instant standing ova-

beautifully precise perfor-

IF YOU WONDER why
the salami from Liberman
Products tastes so good, it's
actually made from corned
beef trimmings!
Murray Liberman and son-
in-law Alan Lampear are
primarily corned beef pro-
cessors . . . •They cut lean
trimmings from briskets and
mix them with their own
special blend of seasonings to
make the salami.
New innovation by Liber-
man's is its Liberman salami
by mail now being introduced
. . . After oddles of various
combinations, Murray came
up with a vacuum-packed
pouch for the salami . . . He
tried it with a salami to a
friend in Paris, France .. .
lbok six weeks by regular
mail . . . and was received in
perfect condition by his very
excited friend who hadn't had
salami in years.
They'll now ship a salami
anywhere in the continental
United States . . . Or for a
slightly higher price,
anywhere in the world .
Quite a novel gift.
-

YOU CAN GET blueber-
ries for your cheesecake, but
not with the blintzes served
at Snack 'n Shop deli in
Atlanta, Ga. . . . And eggs are
served only on Sunday . . . All
in all, though, it is a most
pleasant restaurant seating
100 with salamis hanging
and lying down in a
refrigerated case ... Our
waitress, Wendy Klein, is an
artist making some extra
money . . . Her attentiveness
is outstanding . . . and Wen-
dy's suggestion of whitefish
salad on bagel a very good
one.
There's a big plus of con-
fidence at Kiefer's in Mariet-
ta, another suburb of Atlan-
ta . . . It invites customers to
inspect the kitchen - at any
time . . . Lori Moffit brought
me a fine, broasted half
chicken . . . Seating is for
about 60 with six booths, plus
large circular bar and 12
seats. ❑
